MobileMap is an easy to use mobile mapping application developed for Microsoft Windows Mobile operating systems using MapInfo's MapX Mobile technology.

MobileMap is able to read and write native MapInfo files and has been optimised for simple operation in a field environment including real time integration with GPS technology.

MobileMap has been designed to provide an extension to your existing MapInfo Professional software, allowing your MapIndo data to be viewed in the field and integrated with a real time GPS. MobileMap can display raster imagery (ECW and TIF format) along with MapInfo Tables and Geosets.  MobileMap provides a suite of tools that can be used to edit existing data or capture new data.

A simple form-building capability is also included that allows data capture forms to be built in the office or in the field.

Once the data capture process is complete, data sets can easily be transferred back to the desktop environment for further processing and integration with existing corporate data.
